How it differs from fixed packages
A fixed package is designed in advance with set dates, hotels and a published price. A dynamic package is created on demand: the traveller picks dates and preferences, the system searches each component live, and combines them. The combined price usually hides the individual component prices, which lets sellers use package-only rates.
What a platform needs for it
- Live connections to flight, hotel and ground-service suppliers.
- Rules for which components can be combined and how they are priced.
- Handling for one component failing during booking.
- Compliance with package-travel rules in markets such as the EU and UK.
Example
A traveller chooses Delhi–Dubai flights, a four-star hotel near the Marina and airport transfers. The OTA searches all three live and shows one price for the whole trip.
